Despite the fact that let’s say Bentley Bentayga looks more luxurious, if you are looking for true exclusivity, then fitting your Porsche Cayenne with a body kit from Gemballa that very few people have is definitely one way to go.
At Gemballa, they explained that the second generation Tornado body kit replaces most of the car’s steel panels, as well as some plastic parts with their carbon fiber equivalents, which reduced the total weight of the Cayenne by 70kg (154 lbs).
Visually, the kit consists of a front bumper with large air intakes, vertical LED daylight lamps, wider wheel arches (the total width of the car is now 2.05 m or 81 inches), double round tail lights, four exhaust tips and massive 22-inch wheels.
Nevertheless, the tuning of Gemballa Tornado did not end there. For example, the German tuner wanted to achieve 35-40% increase in output power, as well as 30% more torque. To do so, they used more productive turbochargers, larger intercoolers, a custom exhaust and an ECU tune.
Thus, the power increased from 550 hp. up to 721 hp, and the torque rose from 750 Nm to 955 Nm, which led to a more competitive acceleration time of 4.1 seconds, down from 4.5 seconds when stock. And last but not least: the maximum speed also was increased from 283 km/h (175 mph) to 310 km/h (192 mph).
